Jaguar - Belize Zoo
The enclosures are secure despite what is suggested by this photograph. The zoo's
walkways are literally cut out of the bush while the enclosures consist of undisturbed
jungle. It is much like a machete-less jungle walk. Signs are posted to remind visitors to
keep the habitat for the animals. The zoo follows its own advice. |
